School of Computer Sciences was founded by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India with an objective to meet the increasing demand for high-quality IT Professionals. Started under the leadership of Dr. K N Ramachandran Nair, Professor & Director, it is one of the youngest departments of the University. However, the School has been able to achieve and maintain very high standards through its very special mode of instruction and extra-curricular activities. 

The Department is located in the picturesque Priyadarsini Hills Campus of Mahatma Gandhi University in the heart of God's own Country, Kerala. The facilities such as laboratory, hostel and library are comparable to any institution of its kind in India. The School currently offers post-graduate and research programmes in computer science.
