Student Activities
The School extends best possible support to
its students. A conscious attempt is made to impart proper and effective
education to the students and to monitor and assist in the progress and
development of students.
Currently,
there are 2 batches (2009-2011
and
2010-2012) of full-time students studying for M.Sc.
(Computer Science) at the School. There are also full-time
and part-time Ph.D students in the School.
In addition to their regular academic curriculum, the students take part in a wide variety of activities. They also participate in the different inter-departmental arts and sports events
organized by the Departments Students Union. They have taken part in technical competitions outside the campus and state, and have won several prizes.
The student body,
C$$A
(Computer Science Students' Association), coordinates student activities and helps the students develop to their full potential.
The
general body meeting of the students association is convened regularly and
the faculty gets formal as well as informal feedback about the School’s
activities.
One of the major activities of
C$$A is
Interface, an annual software
contest and publication of the annual magazine
IT Glimpse.
C$$A is complemented by the alumni association, MUSOCSOSA.
